My name is Michael. I've haunted the internet for half my life, and for the past year I've kept stranger company — AI and automation — shipping project after project with Claude Code. Then one ordinary night, a one-minute thought clawed its way out of the ground: how many tokens have I actually fed to the machine? riptokens.com is the headstone that thought left behind — dug, naturally, with Claude Code itself. Every number here is alive: when I work, the counter climbs, and another host of tokens is laid to rest. Rest in peace, little tokens — you did not die for nothing. You died for shipped features, for open-source software, and (hopefully) for very few bugs.
